Nunn Jones carry out acquisition work for the telecommunications industry.
Our ultimate customers are the mobile network operators, such as EE, Vodafone, Three and O2, as well as the wireless infrastructure providers such as Atlas Tower Group and Cellnex. We have well in excess of a century of experience in telecoms acquisition. Nunn Jones have acquired and upgraded several hundred telecommunications installations since our inception back in 2016. We are currently working on several programmes delivering new sites, upgrading sites to 5G and covering key strategic infrastructure.
The scope of our telecoms work includes:
Creating acquisition programme plans in line with the customers’ delivery requirements
Liaising with our client, the appointed design contractor and the appointed build contractor to ensure that we acquire the necessary rights, consents and town and country planning consents to allow the proposed installations to be installed and completed
Carry out lease audits and desktop strategy reviews
Carry out desktop and physical site searching to identify sites that fit the customer’s network requirements
Negotiate heads of terms with the potential landlord/site provider
Engage with the relevant planning authority and submit any necessary planning applications for the proposed sites
Engage with other local community stakeholders
Support the appointed client legal contractor in completing a lease for occupation
Support the appointed build contractor with any matters such as third party access routes, discharge of planning conditions and production of schedules of condition
Detailed progress reporting and updating of client databases throughout the delivery process through to legal access
